Supporting Geothermal Expertise: Alternative Earth Collaborates with Petrophysica and Innargi

Alternative Earth is pleased to support Petrophysica in the delivery of a specialised geothermal petrophysics training course to Innargi, a leading European geothermal operator.

As part of this collaboration, Alt. Earth has been selected as the software platform underpinning the course, providing participants with access to dedicated geothermal petrophysical capabilities in a practical, applied learning environment.

Enabling Practical, Decision-Focused Learning

Delivered by Petrophysica and led by experienced instructor Søren Christensen, the course is designed to explore the critical role of petrophysical interpretation in geothermal development.

A central theme of the training is understanding the value of information derived from well-log data, and how it can directly inform subsurface decision-making. By combining expert instruction with hands-on workflows in Alt. Earth, participants gain practical insight into how data translates into operational and investment outcomes.

Software That Supports Real-World Workflows

Alt. Earth provides a flexible and intuitive platform for geothermal petrophysics, enabling:

  • Integrated well-log analysis within a spatial context

  • Uncertainty-aware interpretation workflows

  • Rapid evaluation of subsurface properties relevant to geothermal systems

  • Clear visualisation of results to support decision-making

By using the same tools applied in real project environments, Innargi’s team can immediately connect training concepts to their own operational challenges.

Supporting the Energy Transition

Innargi Energy is focused on delivering geothermal heat solutions to support the decarbonisation of district heating systems, helping communities transition away from fossil fuels.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment between Alternative Earth, Petrophysica, and Innargi to advance geothermal capability through applied knowledge, robust data interpretation, and modern digital tools.

A Collaborative Approach to Geothermal Development

Parties involved:

  • Alternative Earth – Provider of the Alt. Earth geothermal petrophysical software platform

  • Petrophysica – Course provider and training delivery

  • Søren Christensen – Course instructor (Petrophysica)

  • Innargi – Danish geothermal operator and course participant

Advancing Capability Through Partnership

Alternative Earth is proud to support initiatives that combine technology, expertise, and real-world applications. By enabling practical training environments and equipping operators with advanced analytical tools, Alt. Earth helps bridge the gap between data and decision-making in geothermal development.

This collaboration demonstrates how integrated software platforms can play a key role in building capability; supporting not just learning, but better, faster, and more confident subsurface decisions.
